About
Max Mooshi is a studio recording engineer, live production expert, and post-production editor from Minneapolis, MN. After making his first song at 17 years old, he decided to forgo his passion in computer science and jump head-first into music.
Max has helped Simpsons voice actors, former presidents, and Grammy-award winners sound their best. He enjoys taking this experience and using it to help local musicians sound just as amazing.
He studied Journalism at the University of Minnesota, and was heavily involved in the campus radio station - Radio K. He was originally hired as a podcast editor, and quickly rose to become the head engineer for their show “Off the Record.” There, he mixed a new local band every week for nearly 2 years.
During college, he also worked as the Production Manager for Catalyst Music (The Garage, The Treasury). It was during this time that he learned how to mix live sound, as he helped 3-12 bands/week sound their best. Shortly after leaving that position, he ran the soundboard for the evening broadcasts of KSTP. In between all of these positions, and before graduating a year early, Max had worked 150+ gigs as an audio technician.
When he’s not working, he likes to listen to music, read, and finish one more sudoku puzzle.
